A gong bath or gong meditation is an incredible and unique experience that vibrates every single cell of your beautiful body and Self and rebalances your physical, emotional and spiritual bodies.
All you have to do is lay down comfortably on a mat with your head gently resting on a cushion, cover your delicious body with a soft blanket to keep warm and cosy, close your eyes and let the sound go right through you. Let the magic happen…
The sound vibrations produced by the gong induce theta and delta wave cycles in the brain. If you don’t speak brainwaves, Theta waves occur in REM sleep (vivid dreaming phase) and deep meditation. Your mind’s most deep-seated programs are at Theta and it is where you experience deep relaxation, stress and anxiety release, vivid visualisations, great inspiration, profound creativity and exceptional insight.
Delta waves occur during deep sleep and very deep transcendental meditation. It is the realm of the unconscious mind from which you can access information otherwise unavailable at the conscious level. This wave cycle is very important as it promotes healing and regeneration.
